*Here are just a handful of the overwhelming amount of passages in the scriptures that support each of these truths*:
God is One God in three Persons; namely The Father, Jesus Christ The Son, and The Holy Spirit. The three are each unique and distinct but not separate: (Matthew 28:19, Isaiah 9:6, John 15:26, Deuteronomy 6:4, Mathew 3:16-17, John 1:1-14, 2 Corinthians 13-14, John 10:30, Genesis 1:26)
The Triune God of the bible is the One and only true, eternal, and living God and no other gods exist. Jesus is the One and only Mediator between God and Man: (Isaiah 44:6, Deuteronomy 4:35, Isaiah 45:5 & 21, 1 Corinthians 8:4, 1 Timothy 2:5)
God is holy, good, perfect, and without darkness or sin: (Isaiah 6:1-5, 1 Samuel 2:2, Isaiah 5:16, 1 John 1:5, Psalms 107:1, Psalms 145:9, Mark 10:18, Psalms 34:8, Psalms 92:15, Nahum 1:7, Psalms 18:30, 1 John 3:5, James 1:13, Numbers 23:19)
God is the Creator of all things: (Genesis 1, John 1:1-4, Colossians 1:16, Revelation 4:11, Nehemiah 9:6, Psalms 33:6, Hebrews 11:3, Hebrews 1:2, Romans 11:36)
Humans – men and women – are made in the image of God for the purpose of glorifying God and enjoying Him forever, together: (Genesis 1:27, Psalms 145, Ecclesiastes 12:13, Psalms 37:4, Psalms 33:1, Psalms 100:1-2, 1 Corinthians 10:31, Psalms 73:25-26, Philippians 4:4, Philippians 1:19-23)
Sin and death entered the world through Adam, and because Adam is the representative of all humanity, all humans to have ever existed and ever will exist are fallen and dead in sin: (Genesis 3:1-19, Ephesians 2:1, Romans 3:23, Romans 3:9-18, Romans 5:12 & 18, Colossians 2:13, Luke 15:24, 1 John 1:8, 1 Corinthians 2:14, Ezekiel 36:26, 1 Corinthians 15:22, Jeremiah 17:9, Psalms 51:5, Romans 1:18-3:8, Isaiah 64:6)
Sin is rebellion against God and His perfect law, the failure to love Him as He ought to be loved, and failing to love others as we love ourselves: (John 3:19-20, Matthew 22:36-40, Mark 12:38-31, Jeremiah 2:12-13, James 1:14-15, Genesis 3:6, Romans 3:9-18, Isaiah 53:6, 1 John 3:4, Micah 6:8)
Our sin separates us from God: (Habakkuk 1:13, Isaiah 59:2, Galatians 5:19-21, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Romans 8:7, Revelation 21:8, Psalms 66:18, Hebrews 9:22, Micah 3:4, Matthew 5:20, 1 Peter 3:12)
God is love and He is perfectly just and righteous so He cannot turn a blind eye to evil. Apart from Jesus Christ, we are condemned and under the wrath of God; we are in need of God’s mercy and forgiveness, but He cannot just forgive us or else He wouldn’t be just: (Deuteronomy 32:4, Psalms 33:5, Acts 10:34, Psalms 11:7, Psalms 145:17)
God promised to provide a Savior and has faithfully kept that promise; Jesus Christ is the promised Messiah and the One and only Savior. There is no other name by which we must be saved: (Genesis 3:15, John 1:29, Acts 4:12, Luke 19:10, 1 John 4:14, Matthew 1:21, 1 Timothy 1:15, Titus 2:11, Acts 10:43, Isaiah 53, Revelation 1:5, John 1:17, John 14:6, John 8:24, Isaiah 9:6)
God did for us what we could never do on our own so that we may be forgiven and reconciled to Him by sending His One and only Son, Jesus Christ (who is God incarnate) into the world to be born of a virgin untainted by sin, live the perfect life that we’ve failed to live to earn the righteousness we need to be made right with God, to take the complete wrath of The Father in our place and be voluntarily punished as the payment for our sins on the cross, to die and be buried, and resurrect on the third day showing that Jesus is who He says He is and that God was well pleased with Jesus as our sufficient Savior: (Genesis 3:21, 2 Corinthians 5:21, John 3:14-17, Mark 10:45, Romans 3:21-26, Ephesians 2:4-5, all of Romans 5, 2 Corinthians 8:9, 1 John 4:9-10, Revelation 5:9, Romans 6:23, Romans 1:16, 1 Corinthians 15-18, Isaiah 53:4-5, John 19:30, Hebrews 10:5-14, 1 Peter 2:24, 1 Peter 3:18, all of the New Testament)
This was all in accordance to what God said He was going to do in His word: (Luke 24:27, John 5:39, 1 Corinthians 15:1-8, Galatians 3:8-9, Mark 1:15, all of the Old Testament)
The moment we repent and put our trust in Jesus as our Lord and Savior, God forgives us of all of our sins – past, present, and future – and causes us to be born again by The Holy Spirit: (Romans 8:1, Acts 2:38, Romans 10:9-10, John 1:12-13, Ephesians 1:13, 1 John 1:9, Colossians 2:13-14, Psalms 103:12, 1 John 2:12, all of Romans 4 & 5, Romans 1:16, Hebrews 9:28, Ezekiel 11:19, Jeremiah 31:33-34)
God unites us to Jesus forever, adopts us as His children, and declares us to be the very righteousness of Jesus Christ: (Ephesians 2:6-7, 1 John 3:1, 2 Corinthians 5:21, Romans 8:29-30, Romans 5:1, Romans 8:14-17, Ephesians 1:4-5, John 20:17,
God is just and the Justifier of the ungodly who trust in Jesus alone for salvation: (Romans 3:26, Romans 4:4-5)
Salvation is an undeserved, free gift of God out of the riches of His love, grace, and mercy: (Titus 3:5, Ephesians 2:8-10, Romans 4:4-5, Romans 6:23, all of Galatians, Romans 5:15, 2 Corinthians 9:15, Ephesians 1:7, Acts 2:38, Romans 3:28, 2 Timothy 1:9, 1 John 4:10)
Jesus Christ is going to return again as either your Savior or your Judge. It is appointed for everyone to die once and then comes judgement: (Hebrews 9:27-28, Acts 1:10-11, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Revelation 1:7, 2 Peter 3:10, Matthew 24:36, John 14:1-3, Revelation 22:12 & 20, Titus 2:13, John 6:37-40, Acts 17:31, Philippians 3:20)
